Jodie Hollander, author of My Dark Horses, and Michael Henry, author of Active Gods, will speak about and sign their new books on Wednesday, October 4th at 7:30pm.

Henry examines what it means to be both the parent and the son, and his poems reveal threads between these dual identities in small, specific moments: the shared experience of growing up, losing out, escaping, and then resolving to try again. With imagery that is both familiar and personal, Active Gods creates a world where memories bubble up to themselves known, however “crudely made.”
